Futuremark 3DMark06 and 3DMark Vantage Benchmarks
Although SiSoft Sandra 2010 benchmark shows ASRock x58 extreme3 leading the ASUS Rampage III Gene, 3DMark06 and 3DMark Vantage test shows a different result. From the results, it can be seen that the ASUS Rampage III Gene seems gives an overclocked result.
In 3DMark06, the result difference is around 1.7% while 3Dmark Vantage gets a difference of 1.33%. It seems that some optimisation could have been “added” to boost the results on the ASUS board.
