P8B-E/4L is the latest ASUS UP serverboard designed as Bromolow platform flagship model, featuring an Intel® C204 PCH chipset, leading SATA 6G storage technology, quad Intel server class GbE, ASMB5-iKVM module (optional) for out-of-band remote management, and wide-range OS support, making it an ideal foundation for versatile and feature-rich UP solution.
The P8B-E/4L is a LGA1155 socket type motherboard that supports the Intel Xeon E3-1200 and Core i3-2100 Processor family. The board is powered by the Intel C204 chipset. It has 4 memory slots supports up to 32GB of DDR3-1066/1333 ECC UDIMM.
There are also 3 PCI 32 bit slots, 1 x PCIe x8 (gen2 x 4), 1 PCIe x16 (Gen 2 x 8 link). There is another PCIe x16 Gen 2 (x16 link) auto switch to x8 if slot 4 is occupied and a PIKE slot for storage expansion.
It also has 14 native 6Gbps SATA, 4 x Intel® 82574L + 1 x Mgmt LAN
