Helen McCaw, a former senior financial security analyst at the Bank of England, reportedly sent a message to the bank raising concerns about extraterrestrial life. In short, McCaw contacted Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey, warning him to be prepared in case the United States—specifically the White House—confirms the existence of aliens, according to The Sunday Times.
McCaw believes such an announcement could seriously shake financial markets and potentially lead to bank failures. She pointed to what she says is an ongoing effort by the U.S. government to gradually declassify and release information related to alien life.
“The United States government appears to be partway through a multi-year process to declassify and disclose information on the existence of a technologically advanced non-human intelligence responsible for Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs),” McCaw stated.
