Geenet was the first to announce the closure of its MVNO business, effective 31 December 2025. Today, it has seems that Changi Mobile will also be discontinuing its services by the end of this year.

A check on it’s page revealed that the plans are no longer available for sign up except the S$25 plan.

[Update : Only S$25 plan is available for sign-up]

This development isn’t entirely surprising, as both smaller MVNOs have shown little pricing competitiveness over the past year.

As previously reported, Geenet customers will be migrated to Maxx.sg. However, it remains unclear what will happen to Changi Mobile’s subscribers, though it’s likely they may also be transitioned to M1 Maxx.

With these closures, only two MVNOs under M1 remain — Circles.Life and MyRepublic (4G).
