You heard it right, CMLink the MVNO by China Mobile in Singapore has a new promo. It offers 5 GB of monthly data for $5/mth (usu is a $15/mth plan).
Do take note that the plan is actually the S$15 plan and it offers a Bonus credit of $10 will be deposited into your account before statement cutoff date for 6 consecutive times, starting from the 2nd bill.
As it is a MVNO that runs under the SIngtel network, coverage should not be an issue. The attractiveness of this plan is that it offers 100 minutes calls to mainland China and Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and USA and the 5 GB data can be shared among Singapore, mainland China and Hong Kong (not useful right now due to the lock down in the region).
Do take note the price will return back to $15/mth after the 6th month.

Promotion terms and conditions
• Valid with purchase of the $15 plan on or before 30 June 2020.
• Bonus credit of $10 will be deposited into your account before statement cutoff date for 6 consecutive times, starting from the 2nd bill.
• In the event of a plan change, the credit amount will be based on the valid plan on the 25th of the month. $20 credit will be given for a $30 and above plan while $10 will be given to a $15 plan, no more than 6 consecutive times regardless of credit amount.
