The $18 plan has been upgraded to include 588 GB of local data, 58 GB of Malaysia roaming, 12 GB of APAC roaming, and 6 GB of international roaming. It also comes with 888 minutes of talk time, 388 minutes of IDD, and 188 local SMS.
These enhanced plans aim to attract more customers to sign up for the service. However, despite the increase in local and roaming data, some potential customers may still be hesitant due to previous issues with porting in or out. Common complaints have included coverage problems, roaming call issues, and more.
That said, there are other potential uses for these plans, such as replacing a home broadband connection.
