Garmin-ASUS lanuches their M10 phone today. Featuring the Smart3 (smart phone, smart navigation and smart lifestyle, it merges the best technolgy into one small compact device. The Garmin-ASUS M10 is the first Smartphone that comes with 512MB ROM/RAM and L2 cache making it one of the fastest Windows based smartphone (at 600MHz) in the market. The standby time is 600 hrs and talktime of up to 480 minutes. While most smartphone features the Marketplace of Windows Mobile 6.5, the Garmin ASUS M10 has more to offer as it integrates a fast responding GPS system built right into the device, making it a phone/GPS that is usable for the mobile worker.

 

The phone has a dimension of 116x58x14.3mm and weighs 138g. It has a 3.5″ WVGA resistive screen with 5 megapixel camera built in. The phone has a built in 4GB storage and has 1500mAH battery for long lasting use. It also support HSPA DL 7.2mbps and UL 384kbps. It also has a 3D task manager to multitask your applications and a billboard to display everything from calls, text messages, appointments and statuses in one convenient location.

With the M10, you can click and go, every destination is just 3 clicks away. There is also a text to speech, juction view and lande guidance and easy search of nearby points of interests, parking lots, petrol stations etc.

For the social media crazy youngsters, there is built in facebook, picasa and youtube. Stay connected with latest weather updates flight schedules as they’re real time readily available.

Although the specifications are better than it’s competitors, the M10 uses a resistive screen. It would be better if they used a capacitive screen.
