TVB Dramas Come First To StarHub

Singapore, 30 May 2014 – StarHub will launch a new channel by Hong Kong TVB on 2 June, which will allow Singapore viewers to catch all upcoming TVB dramas in its original Cantonese language concurrently with their Hong Kong counterparts. Aptly named TVB First (StarHub TV Channel 860), the new channel will be Singapore’s first Subscription Video-On-Demand Channel (SVOD) dedicated to TVB dramas. For a fixed monthly subscription fee, TVB First enables StarHub TV viewers to watch the latest episode fresh from Hong Kong, have the option to enjoy previously screened episodes at their convenience, without having to purchase each premiering episode one day at a time.

 

At launch, fans can catch the highly-anticipated drama, The Ultimate Addiction starring popular TVB artistes Bosco Wong, Elena Kong and Kate Tsui on TVB First. With two new titles made available every month, fans can look forward to exciting titles such as Ghost Dragon Of Cold Mountain, which stars Kenneth Ma and Selena Li, and Black Heart White Soul, featuring Roger Kwok, Kristal Tin and Ron Ng in the coming months. For an enhanced viewing experience, customers have the option of watching all programmes on TVB First in two languages—Mandarin or Cantonese.

 

Beyond dramas, fans will also be treated to exclusive interviews and behind-the-scene footages, allowing them sneak peeks into the lives of their favourite artistes. To facilitate on-the-go viewing, viewers can also access TVB First via StarHub TV Anywhere at www.starhubtvanywhere.com.
