Manufacturers will try and engage consumer overclockers to test out their boards. The video shows one of such attempts by Gigabyte to show the world their engineering capabilities.

The tester uses a pair of G.Skill DDR3-2400 and overclock the DRAM on the board at voltage 1.75v.
CPU used is Core i7-3770K @ 3.5GHz, It was first booted up at 40 x 107 = 4.289GHz and overclock upwards.
The DRAM settles at 1530MHz (DDR3-3060) and at CAS 11-14-14-35-2T. This is done using EasyTune 6.

All is done using air cool but no benchmarks were run to test it’s stability.
