Competition is heating up, with GOMO now jumping onto the unlimited 5G bandwagon to take on StarHub.
They’ve launched two new plans — one for Asia and another for global travellers. Prices start at $30.56/month for the Asia plan and $50/month for the Global plan, with first-month discounts of $21.39 and $35.00 respectively.
The 5G+ Asia Infinity plan includes unlimited data roaming across 18 Asia destinations, plus 12GB of roaming data across 50 destinations.
The 5G+ Global Infinity plan offers 50 Air Miles per month and unlimited worldwide data roaming across 50 destinations.
Both plans are also subject to fair-usage policies which allows you to have
- Unlimited Local data will have up to 1,024GB for usage
- Unlimited MINS/SMS will have up to 1,500MINS/SMS for usage,
- Unlimited Asia roaming will have 20GB, throttle to lower speed thereafter.
- Unlimited International roaming will have 25GB, throttle to lower speed thereafter.
The plan suits those who travel very often. Unfortunately, outgoing calls, outgoing SMS and incoming calls will not work when Roaming.

Compared the SIMBA $25 offering, GOMO’s plan seems to be a bit outdated. There is no point of having unlimited local data, rather such plan should focus on roaming requirements. It is also not known what speed it will be throttled to when you used up all the allocated data.
