POCO has posted a teaser about it’s launch of the POCO F8 series in Bali, Indonesia. As enthusiast know, POCO F8 series usually the rebranded Redmi Kx0 series. For example, the POCO F7 was the Redmi K80 (sold in China).
Based on the China specifications, the Redmi K90 looks like a pretty solid flagship-class option. It comes with a 6.59″ 120Hz Full HD+ AMOLED display and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. In China, the device is available with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB of storage.

For cameras, the K90 is equipped with a triple-camera setup featuring a 50MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto shooter with 2.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Selfies are handled by a 20MP front camera.
The phone also gets stereo speakers tuned by Bose, and it packs a large 7,100mAh battery with support for up to 100W fast wired charging.
Meanwhile, the Poco F8 Ultra — which corresponds to the Redmi K90 Pro Max in China — is the most powerful model in the lineup. It features a larger 6.9″ 120Hz Full HD+ AMOLED display and runs on the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Like the K90, it can be configured with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.
On the camera side, it comes with an impressive triple 50MP setup consisting of a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera offering 5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle shooter. For selfies, there’s a 32MP front camera.
One highlight is its 2.1 stereo sound system tuned by Bose Sound. Besides the usual stereo speakers, there’s also an additional “independent” rear woofer located on the camera island next to the main camera module, designed to deliver fuller bass.
The K90 Pro Max is powered by a huge 7,560mAh battery and supports 100W fast wired charging as well as 50W fast wireless charging.
The Poco F8 Pro and F8 Ultra will be launching on 26 November in Bali, Indonesia. Pricing should be comparable to the previous F7 variant.
