Yes, the successor of the Pixel 3a is launched today. The pixel 4a is now available for pre order at S$499 at Google Store. Enjoy entertainment and extra storage with 3 month trials of YouTube Premium and Google One.
Priced at S$499, the Pixel 4a comes in Just Black with a 5.8-inch bezel-less, OLED display, with a 3.5mm headphone jack, increased storage space of 128GB4 and 6GB of RAM. Designed as the “everything you love about Google” phone, the Pixel 4a packs helpful features at a helpful price. Some key features include:
- The same incredible camera experience from the Pixel 4 – including Live HDR+ Night Sight with astrophotography, Portrait Mode, and Top Shot
- An exclusive Recorder app which automatically transcribes speech and lets you search across your audio recordings

Together with the launch of the Pixel 4a comes the Pixel 4a knit fabric cases, which combine beauty, lightweight protection and recycled materials. The cases come in 3 colours – Basically Black, Static Gray and Blue Confetti – and are made from 70% recycled material.
Online pre-orders for the Pixel 4a start from today on the Google Store, Challenger and Courts, and will be available online from 10 September, on the Google Store and retail partners Challenger, Courts and Amazon SG.
We made a comparison of the specs and was surprised that these two features from the Pixel 4 went missing on the Pixel 4a. They are Motion Auto-Focus and Super Res Zoom. I would say that Motion Auto Focus is a very useful feature which shouldn’t be omitted.
In terms of pricing, the Pixel 4a (S$499) is relatively cheaper than the Pixel 3a (S$659). It is interesting to see that it comes with a higher capacity of memory of 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage.
