Comparison of Photo shots and Video shots
Contents
The Google Pixel 7 Pro has a few camera hardware changes in comparison to the Google Pixel 6 Pro. It retains the same 50MP Samsung GN1 main sensor, but from there, it’s basically all different. The ultra-wide has been swapped over to a Samsung GM1 (instead of an IMX586), and it’s also 21% wider and can be used for macro photography. As for the telephoto, it’s increased from 4x to 5x, and Super Res Zoom has increased from 20x zoom to 30x zoom.
We compare the Pixel 7 Pro to our daily driver the Mi 10T Pro.
Photos taken with the Pixel 7 Pro is excellent very sharp and clear. Both do not exhibits light flares under low light environments. Photos taken in day light or night is not as bright as the Mi 10T Pro. This could be attributed to the larger apeture size on the Mi 10T Pro 5G.
As for video recording in 4K/60 fps, the Pixel 7 Pro is the better of the two. Videos are stable on both the front and back camera. There are slight lens flare and shadows during video but generally much better than the Mi 10T Pro 5G.
