It is to our surprise that Grid Mobile officially announce that they are quitting the telco business on 6 Dec 2021. Existing customers can either port to Gomo which is part of Singtel. Alternatively, customers can port to other telcos before 6 Dec 2021 (if not the number will be terminated).
If you are a subscriber, you should be receiving a letter from Grid Mobile. Look out for a GOMO sim card inside which you immediately port over. Do take note that if you port over today, Grid Mobile doesn’t have a prorate policy. Thus, it would be advisable to port out by end of October or November.
