Intel H67 chipset locks Sandy bridge processor memory clock to DDR3-1066 and DDR3-1333

If you have read our reviews of the Intel P67 boards, you will be impressed by the memory controller built into the CPU. It is capable of running at DDR3-1866 or even DDR3-2133 on a Core i5-2500K

Although the same processor can be used on an Intel H67 board which comes with display ports like HDMI, D-SUB, DVI-D and Displayport, they lock down the memory controller to support only DDR3-1333 at the max. This is somewhat disappointing as the same processor can take advantage of the extra memory bandwidth when paired up with an intel P67 but not on the Intel H67.

Will future revisions and BIOS change that. We shall see.
