Just hours ago, Apple officially unveiled it’s latest mobile phone, the Apple iPhone 4. This phone is probably one of the highest spec. phone right now. It comes with a higher resolution, thinner package and lightweight form factor. It also has 16/32GB flash drive, dual camera, 5 megapixel front lens (back lens unknown spec). It also supports HD video recording, at 720p, video conferencing,, three axis gyro for gaming. It has a talk time of 7 hrs on 3G and 14 hrs on 2G . The price will be at $200 for 16GB, $300 for 32GB with 2 yrs contract and will be available from June 24.
Although both phones has its advantages, the major difference would be the network it runs on. The iPhone 4 is still a 3G network device while the HTC Evo 4G runs on Sprint’s 4G network which is not available in most major cities, including San Francisco and New York.

At the same time as I really like a bodily keyboard, after handling the Samsung Captivate for about quarter-hour, it’s hard to move back. At the moment I’m debating whether to go to Verizon for the Droid X, cross to Sprint for the EVO, or stick with AT&T for the Captivate…decisions, decisions.
Only things of issue are one.) alarm clock had no pop up to dismiss or snooze the very first time I used it. It’s been fine since then but wow- that was interesting. Had to turn it off to stop the song! 2.) One day, all my imported (at Sprint store) contacts disappeared. Only the ones I had hand loaded directly remained. I lost ~ 113 names, numbers that I have no idea how to get back. They are not in my gmail or anything..
Yo! this new HTC EVO looks awsome!!! i’m really wondering to check this fone, i think the android OS is allot more better than the iOS IMO so i think thats the telly for moi 🙂
Try sold out on preorder opening day! Should I say more? Everyone quick to say this phone have this n that phone has that but it comes down to is it user friendly ? If I give this phone to my 65 years old dad will he be able to use it right out the box n don’t have to read a book? It’s easy for a techno dude to say witch phone have more. Some times I find out That more isn’t always best. Just ask apple iPhone.. Lol

One problem with this comparison:
Video chat on the Evo 4G: use Fring, free and has video. My N95 had video calling on it, nothing new or magical to see here.

3)processor (unknown) Most likely it it will be slower then HTC evo, Apple(A4 chip which also same as 3Gs and max rate is 1ghz) I doubt that the processor could not achieve it max rate with it current 4G iphone,

1)Ability to stream HD 720p video to an 85-inch TV(or bigger) via its HDMI-out port. The Snapdragon chipset is capable of decoding the video and pushing it out through HDMI with no external help.
2)Better Processing power
3)Better Memory ram (1GB)
4)with flash 10.1 support allow you to view video and flash game in the browser really very smooth.

Both phone is able multitasking
The reason i didn’t mention the app store because both iphone and evo have app store. and many range is available
And again probably they apple going to make another iphone 4Gs with better Ram and processor so that able earn money out from us.

Hi i was wondering 2 qns:
1) though its stated that iphone4 Video Calling (FaceTime)can only thro wifi is it an US of A thingie telco restriction, i mean like in SG will it still be able to do VC of 3.5G?
2) is the HTC Evo 4G even available in other parts of the world besides US of A?
1 I think it should be enabled for singapore telcos. The problem in US is that the telco is afraid of overloading their network.
2 HTC Evo 4G is a US network specific product, I dont think it will ever work unless our 4G network is the same as theirs.
