Summary 

 

The LG G Flex has a 6″ curved screen. The first thought is that it might not fit in my hands very well. To my surprise, it is easier to hold than any bar type phones I have used in the past years. As it has a larger screen, single hand operation seems to be hindered by the larger 6″ screen. One size probably doesn’t fit all as Asians have smaller palms compared to the Europeans and Americans. How about a LG G Flex mini ?

As we saw in the screen shot, the units are pre-loaded with Android 4.2.2. I personally hope that LG can bring it up to speed by offering regular updates to the latest OS version. e.g. 4.4.

Overall, the first experience with this phone is positive. It runs smooth just like the G2. Most importantly, you can now fit the smartphone in your back pocket without worrying of breaking the screen.
