At CES 2026, LG Electronics unveiled LG CLOiD, an AI-powered home robot designed to dramatically reduce the time and effort spent on everyday housework. The debut highlights LG’s long-term vision of a “Zero Labor Home”—a future where intelligent machines seamlessly manage household tasks, allowing people to focus on what truly matters.
A Robot Built for Everyday Life
Demonstrated in real-world home scenarios at CES 2026, LG CLOiD prepares breakfast by retrieving items from the refrigerator and using the oven, then later starts laundry cycles, folds clothes and neatly stacks them after drying. By learning user routines and connecting directly with LG appliances, the robot automates chores with minimal human input.
Designed for Real Homes
LG CLOiD features a human-inspired design with two articulated arms, five-fingered hands and a wheeled base for safe, stable movement. Its adjustable torso allows it to reach items at various heights, while advanced navigation technology enables smooth operation around furniture, children and pets.
Powered by Physical AI
At the heart of LG CLOiD is Physical AI, combining visual understanding, language comprehension and action-based intelligence. Using LG’s Vision Language Model (VLM) and Vision Language Action (VLA), the robot can recognize objects, understand spoken requests and convert that information into precise physical actions.

A Mobile AI Home Hub
Beyond performing chores, LG CLOiD acts as a mobile AI home hub. Equipped with cameras, sensors, a display and voice-based generative AI, it learns household habits and controls connected appliances through LG’s ThinQ and ThinQ ON platforms.
A Glimpse Into the Future of AI Homes
Alongside LG CLOiD, LG also introduced LG Actuator AXIUM, a new robotics actuator technology that enables smooth, human-like motion. Together, these innovations reflect LG’s strategy to blend robotics, smart appliances and AI into a single home ecosystem.
As showcased at CES 2026, LG’s vision points toward a future where housework fades into the background—and home becomes a place for rest, creativity and connection.
