MyRepublic to offer an enhanced suite of mobile services on M1’s mobile network
SINGAPORE, 1 OCTOBER 2020 – M1 Limited (M1) and MyRepublic are collaborating to bring an enhanced suite of mobile services through their Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) partnership. With this, MyRepublic will utilise M1’s mobile network infrastructure to offer better value, customised products and services, and an unparalleled mobile experience to its customers.
Through this partnership, M1 enables MyRepublic to tailor their products and offerings in an easy and timely fashion for their customers, as well as to gain more customer insights gleaned from M1’s rich digital technology ecosystem. In addition to enhancing the overall suite of mobile services for MyRepublic, the collaboration will also give M1 the opportunity to potentially expand its reach out to MyRepublic’s captive fibre broadband customer base in the market.
Leveraging M1’s fast go-to-market tools, innovative technology and wealth of experience from working with several MVNOs, MyRepublic successfully launched a suite of mobile services entirely on M1’s network in September this year, since trials first began in April. The newly refreshed “For Life” no-contract plans signal the beginning of a rich vein of products and services MyRepublic will launch on the M1 network.
“We are very pleased to have MyRepublic as M1’s newest MVNO partner. We look forward to leveraging their market presence in the fibre consumer market and offer these customers an enhanced mobile service experience on our network. We look forward to working closely with MyRepublic and more MVNOs to create a dynamic mobile network and technology ecosystem,”said Mr Emad Bakhshy, General Manager, Business Development, M1.
“MyRepublic is excited to be embarking on this partnership with a forward-looking partner like M1, that aligns with our vision of delivering technology to ensure fast and seamless connection to customers. As a market leader with a track record of being a reliable provider at the forefront of Singapore’s telco industry, we are confident that M1 understands the importance of not only providing quality network services, but also fuss-free experiences to all customers,” said Mr Lawrence Chan, Managing Director, MyRepublic Singapore.
Founded in 2011, MyRepublic started their operations in Singapore as the world’s first 1Gbps broadband service. Launching their mobile services in 2018, MyRepublic is the only MVNO in Singapore to offer both broadband and mobile services to consumers. It also recently announced that it was refreshing its mobile offerings, bringing greater value to its consumers though a data upsize across all its existing mobile plans – at no additional cost allowing for a worry free mobile experience with no hidden charges and no bill shock.
