Oppo R17 and R17 launches in Singapore
OPPO announced the launch of the OPPO R17 and R17 Pro in a global press event on the 23rd of August 2018, held in Shanghai. The R17 series adopts a revolutionary gradient design and new technological innovations that fully demonstrates OPPO’s innovation and leadership in mobile phone design.
Key features of the R17 series include:
· Adopts Corning® Gorilla® Glass 6 screen with a 91.5% screen-to-body ratio and Hidden Fingerprint Unlock
· Brand-new “three-color and bi/quad-direction” gradient design
· Upgrades in both hardware and software in the smartphone camera with a smart aperture and a software-level AI Ultra-clear Engine designed for night shooting
· Upgraded camera that allows users to take high-quality night photos
· Smartphone camera equipped with AI Ultra-clear Engine that breaks through hardware limitations and maximizes image quality
The R17 series positions OPPO as a brand offering “fashionable design and
technology innovation”. OPPO also provides users with more differentiated choices
by adopting multiple product series. Since the beginning of this year, OPPO has
made efforts (i.e. product, R&D, marketing, and retail) to promote the development of
the smartphone industry whilst also serving more and more young people around the
world.
The R17 pro will have a F/1.5 and F/2.4 aperture camera, SuperVOOC quick charge, on screen fingerprint sensor, water spray resistance, TOF 3D camera, 8GB+128GB, front 25 megapixel AI camera.
The OPPO R17 8GB+128GB will be available in China on Aug 30th 2018 at 3499
RMB, while OPPO R17 6GB+128GB will be available in China in early September at
3199 RMB. The R17 Pro 8GB+128GB with SuperVOOC is priced at 4299 RMB, and
is expected to go to China market around mid-October.
The R17 and R17 Pro availability in Singapore will be announced at a later date.
