Starting today, Singapore residents living in postcode 58 to 78 will be allowed to choose their preferred alternative electricity provider. Similar to choosing a telecom operator, residents now can choose from a selection of 12 operators. Plans comes in all forms and shapes. There are the fixed priced for 6, 12, 24 months and plans which is a 22% off the Singapore Power’s tariff. There are others which has day and night pricing.
At the moment, the fixed rate pricing is the cheapest and they are from SembCorp, Geneco, SunSeap and Ohm. It looks like there will be a price war soon as Geneco has just lowered their pricing to match Sembcorp this morning. So, stay tuned in our FB page for more updates
