ViewQwest is probably the lesser known of all fibre broadband providers in Singapore. In the past, they have offered some interesting products like Freedom VPN and 1Gbps plans at good pricing.

This time round, they are not going to leave the low end segment to the 3 telecom providers. At PC SHOW 2016 today, ViewQuest has a special promotion (seems to be 4 days only) for a 350Mbps fibre broadband plan at S$29.90. That is 50Mbps faster than M1’s 300Mbps plan which is priced at S$29.00 per month.

On top of that, you can top up $5.35 per month, you can boost the speed to 500Mbps (7pm to 7am). There is also a free trial period of Freedom VPN which allows you to view overseas IPTV without geographic lock.

If you need a static IP, that would be S$10 more per month, M1 charges S$2 per month. As for voice line, ViewQuest needs you to fork out S$50 one time fee and S$3.95 for the first 12 months (after which it is unclear what is the pricing).

You can choose to top up $5.35 per month for the ASUS RT-AC12000G+ router and another $5.35 per mth for a ViewQwest 4K media player.

The 1Gbps and 2Gbps bundle has it’s price slashed from S$65 to S$49.90 and S$89.95 to S$65. There is no bittorrent throttling and traffic shaping on the 1Gbps and 2Gbps plans.
