Red Bean smartphone takes on Xiaomi with amazing specifications and price
I find it hilarious that China smartphone brands simply loves to use food ingredients to brand their products. Lately, we came across a new brand “Red Bean” （紅豆）. Although it is not as known as the XiaoMi （小米）or RedMi （紅米）, this Red Bean （紅豆）smartphone’s specifications is impressive for it’s price. Retailing at SGD 154 online, it does receive positive reviews in discussion forums while some complained about the faulty units received.
It seems that they have stopped selling the older versions and replaced it with the CH-U5, a 5.5″ model at S$209 that comes with a free Ainol 7″ HD Tablet. It looks like a way better deal than the previous models since it has a larger screen.
