Last month, MediaTek hosted a customer event in Shenzhen, attracting hundreds of representatives from our many device partners to learn about our latest business roadmap. Attendees were eager to hear about our latest products, and MediaTek certainly delivered on its promise to impress the crowd as it announced the availability of MT6595 and allowed attendees to experience its impressive power for themselves.
As a surprise to the audience, we also unveiled our latest and greatest System on Chip (SoC), the 64-bit LTE True Octa-core™ MT6795 with 2K display support. The SoC, which will be commercially available by the end of year, fulfills all the wishes of a power user and we are proud to be the first to bring this to market.
The True Octa-core SoC, clocked at up to 2.2GHz, is supported by our CorePilot™ technology and dual-channel LPDDR3 memory to deliver the best processing capabilities and thermal control. Beyond its world-class processors, it also features plenty of multimedia features to completely redefine what it means to be the best mobile experience, which are explained in the newsletter below.
