Although local telcos support 5G SA, most of them require you to subscribe to expensive 12 months contract and purchase the high end expensive smartphone to pair it up with.
Finally, we managed to test out M1’s 5G SIM (SA) on the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. Initially it didn’t seem to be able to detect the 5G SA option as there is no 5G NSA coverage in my area.
After updating to the latest MIUI 13 firmware, the option to enable 5G SA appears and we can finally run on the 5G SA network.
