If you have been following our news about the data block size used by the local telcos (MNO+MVNOs), RedONE was flagged as charging at 1 MB block in the past. This is being observed by the earliest batch of readers that the app’s reading is way higher than actual usage recorded by the handphone.
Today, redONE changed it’s T&C and reduced it to 100 KB, that is 10X lower than before. Roaming data is still charged at 1 MB block.
Users should monitor their data usage using tracking app and compare to the usage report in the telco’s app to ensure fair billing.
