VeraCrypt Benchmark on AMD Ryzen 1800X
VeryCrypt AES(TwoFish(Serpent)) is the most demanding encryption task available in a list of tests available in VeraCrypt.
From this benchmark, we can clearly see that all 16 threads are heavily utilised during the test. Running on 3.6GHz, it scored 999 MB/s which far surpassed that Core i7-6950X and Core i7 6900K by almost 48% (compared to Core i7-6950X). When overclocked to 4GHz, the difference is wider by almost up to 50%.
