Launch Markets: Singapore in the First Wave
Samsung is releasing the Galaxy Z TriFold first in Korea, followed by China, Taiwan, Singapore, UAE and the USA. Singaporeans will be among the very first to try the device, with demo units available at Samsung Experience Stores in VivoCity, 313@Somerset and Jurong Point. Two differently sized hinges with a dual-rail structure deliver smoother folding, better stability and a slimmer profile with minimal gaps.
Reinforced Display
The 10-inch panel uses a new shock-absorbing layer and reinforced overcoat to withstand dual-fold stress.
Premium Exterior Materials
A titanium hinge housing, Advanced Armor Aluminum frame and ceramic-glass fiber reinforced back panel boost strength without adding bulk.
Samsung also uses CT scans and laser-based checks to ensure precise component alignment — the strictest inspection process ever on a Samsung foldable.

The TriFold runs on a customised Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, paired with a 200MP camera and a massive 5,600mAh triple-cell battery distributed across all panels for efficiency and better heat control. With 45W fast charging, this is a foldable designed for power users.
Multitasking Goes Next-Level
On the expanded 10-inch display, multitasking is desktop-like. Run three apps side by side, resize windows freely and reopen recent apps instantly via the Taskbar. Samsung Health, My Files and other Samsung apps are optimised for this larger layout.
The standout feature: Standalone Samsung DeX
A first for mobile — the TriFold can run a full desktop-style DeX environment on the device itself, supporting up to four virtual workspaces, each with five apps running simultaneously. Connect a keyboard, mouse or external monitor for an even more powerful mobile workstation. Drag-and-drop between screens works as well.
Galaxy AI Supercharged
Galaxy AI becomes even more capable on the larger canvas. Photo Assist tools such as Generative Edit and Sketch to Image work with side-by-side comparisons. Browsing Assist provides instant translations or summaries. Gemini Live uses multimodal AI to understand what’s on your screen or in your camera feed, offering contextual suggestions or creative assistance. Show it a room and colour swatches — it will suggest interior design ideas. Show it products — it will help compare them. It all happens seamlessly without switching apps.

The 10-inch display offers a stunning video experience, with minimal crease visibility and better immersion. The cover screen features a 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with up to 2,600 nits brightness, while the main display reaches 1,600 nits, both enhanced by Vision Booster.
Singapore Availability
The Galaxy Z TriFold launches in Singapore on 19 December 2025.
