Curved screen or flat screen. It doesn’t seem to matter as the green line issue is appearing on some Samsung S24 Ultra.
Just a few weeks after the new Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra came out worldwide, there are two cases in the US where the phones randomly got a green line issue on their screens.
A few years ago, a similar green line problem showed up with the Samsung Galaxy S20 series, affecting phones from Samsung, OnePlus, and Realme. Now, after four years, it seems like the latest Samsung flagship, the Galaxy S24 Ultra, is having the same issue.
A person on Reddit, u/Ok_Marketing_6979, shared that after using the new Galaxy S24 Ultra for only six days, a green line and a white line appeared on the screen and didn’t go away, even after restarting or resetting the phone. This has happened before with other phone models.
Worryingly, this isn’t just a one-time problem. Another person on Reddit, u/Independent-Bet-4916, reported the same green line issue on their new Galaxy S24 Ultra. Both of them are having a hard time getting a replacement or refund from the stores where they bought the phones.
We don’t know yet if many Galaxy S24 Ultra phones will have this issue or if it’s just a problem with a small number of them. Samsung phones have had this problem in the past, and that might make people worried. We’ll let you know if there are any updates on this issue.
