Samsung’s latest bada phone makes its appearance are Barcelona, Spain a few hours ago. Being a new OS on the Samsung phone, it features some exciting new user interface, multitasking and multitouch which performs on par or better than the iPhone. Check out the videos to have a first glimspe of the phone.

The Wave is the first handset to receive Bluetooth SIG certification for Bluetooth 3.0, features a 3.3 inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display and comes equipped with a five megapixel camera that offers auto focus and flash, plus 720p video and DivX support.

The device also runs on a 1GHz processor, which we assume is SnapDragon based, while offering HSDPA (3G) connectivity and WiFi. The unit also offers expandable memory via MicroSDHC card support, lets users plug in their 3.5mm headphone jacks and offers a tough to destroy aluminum body design which houses a 1,500mAh battery.

The phone also offers the Bada OS with Touchwiz 3.0 which doesn’t really have us jumping out of our seats, however the flush frontside buttons and four way navigational buttons should help out one-handed device users who don’t feel like taking advantage of touchscreen capabilities (hint: great on a cold day when you don’t want to take off your gloves).
