SIMBA users will be able to access to a new frequency band LTE Band 1 at 2100 MHz. Currently, it is supposedly co-existing as n1 for 5G deployment but it also serves the 4G users.

Together with Band 8, it will be able to serve a wider user base. Users connected to Band 1 in certain areas will also experience higher upload speeds as it operates on the FDD band.

Unfortunately, the band allocated to SIMBA is only 10 MHz. Band 40 (20 MHz) or Band 40 CA (20 + 20) still gives the best downlink speed.

You can check the Band connected using Network Cell Info Lite app.
