What a surprise it was! The announcement came out of the blue, and while details are still scant, they’re inviting people to express their interest in the new plan.
For those early adopters who jumped on board with the 2.5 Gbps, one can’t help but wonder: will they be rewarded with an early bird upgrade? After all, they were the backbone of the initial 2.5 Gbps launch.
The pressure is on for the other ISPs. They’ll need to up their game and roll out something compelling to counter this new entrant. If they don’t, they risk losing ground in both the mobile and fibre broadband markets.
