As expected, SIMBA has once again shaken up the market with enhancements to its plans. Earlier this year, they introduced shared data roaming in Malaysia and added IDD minutes to Myanmar for selected plans.
Now, SIMBA is further upgrading its offerings by adding shared data for Indonesia on its $12, $18, $20, $25, and $39 ($13 per 30 days) plans. However, the S$10 and $5 Senior plans are not included. SIMBA is the only telco that provides VoLTE Roaming in Indonesia. You can now call and receive voice calls while roaming on both roaming partner Smartfren and Telkomsel.
If you’re planning a short trip to Indonesia, you can now enjoy seamless connectivity with shared data ranging from 200GB to 700GB, depending on your subscribed plan.
Will Thailand be next ? 🙂
