According to Downdetector.sg, Singtel saw a bunch of reports about connectivity problems kicking in around 6 pm. This marks the third time recently that Singtel users have run into issues with their 5G signal.
Even though the problem got fixed eventually, it’s really frustrating and confusing why these random outages keep happening and hitting certain groups of customers out of nowhere.
It’s super disruptive—messes with people’s work, daily life, and basically everything—and honestly, this kind of thing just shouldn’t be happening at all.
Singtel has already said the breakdowns on Day 1 and Day 2 weren’t connected to each other and definitely weren’t cyber attacks. As for what exactly caused today’s issue around 6 pm, they haven’t shared any details yet
