According to local news media, Taiwan on Wednesday reported the first case of the H7N9 bird flu outside of  mainland China. The 53 year old man had been working in Suzhou before returning from Shanghai to Taiwan.

The men had been hospitalized since  April 16 and was in a critical condition in quarantine ward.

Although it is unconfirmed that H7N9 will transmit from human to human, there would be some precautions needed for those who  intend to visit China and Taiwan.
