Viu TV begins test broadcast online after ATV shuts down operations
Hong Kong TV industry is evolving to a OTT platform with Viu TV which will begin official broadcasts over OTT and Digital TV in Hong Kong.
You can now tune in to viu.tv at http://viu.tv/ch/99 , it will broadcast lots of local and Korean dramas dubbed in Cantonese.
It is quite interesting to note that the test transmission online starts at 12:00 on 2 Apr 2016 HKT right after Hong Kong’s longest TV station ATV shuts down operation after being denied a TV license to continue operation.
