I attended the event at lyf Farrer Park, where they officially introduce the vivo v70 and vivo v70 fe in Singapore. No doubt, the focus is on the vivo v70 as it is now focused on a flagship level camera performance with it’s partnership with ZEISS.

The v70 is encased in an Aerospace-Grade Aluminum Alloy Frame and has this incredibly slim 1.25 mm bezel. I really like the colours especially the Sunset Glow. It is rated with IP68/IP69 water resistance and there is even a Underwater photography mode option for taking taking photos and videos under water. It can survive drops from 1.5 meters.
As for the battery, it has a 6500 mAh BlueVolt battery. and supports 90W FlashCharge. It battery is able to last more than a day even under heavy 4K recording and usage.
The main focus of the v70 is the 50 MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera. It has Main: 50 MP ZEISS OIS (Flagship sensor), Telephoto: 50 MP ZEISS Periscope (1/1.95″ sensor) and Selfie: 50 MP ZEISS Group Selfie (Autofocus is a lifesaver here). With the AI Stage mode, you can film a concert of a performance by zooming in from far without getting blurry image or video. During the demo, they showed off the new AI Stage Mode. It uses a 10x zoom combined with AI enhancement to keep performers looking sharp even from the back of the room. For photos, it is able to shoot up to 100x digital zoom, for videos, it can go up to 15x.
There is also 4K 60 fps video recording for the first time. Something that is new it’s the AI Audio Noise Eraser that lets you strip out background chatter from your recordings in post-production. This is quite similar to the one we reviewed on Google Pixel 8.
The v70 is powered by the Android 16 running originOS 6 and it uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 with 256 GB storage and 12 GB+12GB of RAM.
