Vivo is ending 2025 with a massive bang. At OCWorkbench, we’ve seen plenty of “flagships” come and go, but the Vivo X300 Pro is a different beast entirely. Co-engineered with ZEISS and debuting the world’s first MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, this phone isn’t just a daily driver—it’s a professional rig that fits in your pocket.
Let’s go through some of the features of this phone and it’s extender.

Design and Durability: Built for the Elements
The X300 Pro is a tank in a tuxedo. It features a dual rating of IP68 and IP69, meaning it doesn’t just survive a dunk in the pool; it’s rated against high-pressure, high-temperature water jets. Whether you’re shooting in a monsoon or a dusty desert, this phone is built to last.
Display: 4500 Nits of Pure Brilliance
The 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED screen is a marvel. With a resolution of 2800 × 1260 and a peak brightness of 4500 nits, outdoor visibility is no longer a concern. The 1~120Hz adaptive refresh rate keeps everything buttery smooth while sipping power efficiently.
| Feature | Specification |
| Size | 6.78″ (17.22 cm) |
| Resolution | 2800 × 1260 (1.5K+) |
| Pixel Density | 452 PPI |
| Brightness | 4500 nits (Local Peak) |
Performance: The 3nm Dimensity 9500 Powerhouse
Under the hood, Vivo and MediaTek have jointly defined the Dimensity 9500. Built on a 3nm process, it uses an “all-big-core” architecture. Combined with 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, there is zero lag, even in the most demanding titles.
- CPU: 1 × 4.21 GHz (C1-Ultra) + 3 × 3.5 GHz + 4 × 2.7 GHz
- Imaging: Dedicated V3+ Imaging Chip for cinematic 4K portrait videos.
- Connectivity: Full 5G NSA/SA support, including the crucial n79 band for Hong Kong users.
The ZEISS Camera System: 5400mm Reach?
This is where the X300 Pro leaves the competition behind. The rear setup is a triple threat: 50MP Main + 50MP Ultra-wide + 200MP ZEISS APO Telephoto.
The 200MP periscope sensor is a detail monster. During our testing, it captured impressive shots of distant objects including the moon, rendering craters and ridges with shocking fidelity that rivals dedicated DSLR setups.
The X300 Pro supports the Vivo ZEISS 2.35x Telephoto Extender Kit. When attached, this optical masterpiece allows you to reach an insane 5400mm equivalent focal length through the “Telephoto Extender” mode. It’s essentially a telescope in your hand.
AI & Software: OriginOS 6 on Android 16
Vivo has finally brought OriginOS 6 (based on Android 16) to the global stage. It’s smarter and more integrated than ever:
- One Touch to Share: Move files to an iPhone with a single tap via EasyShare.
- Vivo DocMaster: AI tools to summarize, translate, and convert Word/PDF files on the fly.
- AI SuperLink: Massive reductions in lag—68% less video call lag in elevators and 60% fewer dropped calls in garages.
Battery and Charging
The 6510 mAh single-cell battery is a longevity champ. When you do run low, the 90W FlashCharge gets you back to 100% in a flash, and the 40W Wireless Charge is one of the fastest in the industry.
