SINGAPORE, 17 DECEMBER 2020 – Leading global technology company vivo today announces the launch of the x50e 5G smartphone in Singapore. Available from 19 December, the X50e 5G boasts a powerful battery and 5G capabilities all packed into a slim frame width of 8.88mm. Featuring a 3D glass arc design, the device is delicately contoured to comfortably fit your palm – perfect for users who seek a premium, powerful yet compact smartphone.
As 5G continues to gain traction in Singapore, more consumers will be able to enjoy faster speeds, low latency and massive interconnectivity capabilities with the X50e 5G. Leveraging vivo’s innovative antenna decoupling technology (DES) and side distributed antenna system (SDAS), the phone is equipped to deliver a seamless, stable user experience free from signal interferences. With a powerful 32MP front camera and 4 rear cameras (48MP main camera, 13MP portrait camera, 8MP wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro camera), the X50e 5G is poised to meet all different photography needs. Launch details
The X50e 5G will be available at all authorised retailers including M1, Singtel and StarHub, vivo official stores on Lazada, Qoo10 and Shopee as well as vivo standalone stores. Prices will start at S$699 (without contract) and every purchase of the phone entitles a free vivo neckband headphones and casing worth S$99, available while stocks last.
The phone will be available in two colours: Silver, a peaceful silver tone with a vibrant finish that resembles a serene lake glistening in the light and Black, a brilliant sheen of night decorated with a mystical blue-violet hue.
In celebration of the new model launch, vivo will be running an Instagram giveaway contest with video streaming provider, Viu. The first participant to correctly identify the title of the drama based on a short clip played will win a brand new X50e 5G.
