The iXpand Base is primarily a iPhone specific product for charging and backing up at the same time. When the iPhone is plugged into the device through the lightning cable, it auto backup the latest photos, videos and contacts into the device. The device can store up to 256GB using an external SD card.
The iXpand Base delivers 15W of power which charges the phone much quicker than the traditional ones. There is also a companion app for restoring the content to your iPhone if you accidentally delete the content from your phone.
