The Sony Xperia S is the first Sony Smartphone after Sony merges back it’s subsidiary Sony Ericsson. Based on the tradition of the Xperia series, this smartphone delivers the best of Android experience on a high quality camera and a faster dual core processor. This is also the first Sony smartphone from the new Xperia NXT series.

The Xperia S features a Sony HD 4.3″ high-resolution 342ppi screen display and a 12 megapixel digital camera which can take shots in just 1.5 seconds from standby. It can record Full HD video using the back lens. The phone is powered by the 1.5 GHz dual core processor and Android Gingerbread, it is upgradable to Ice Cream Sandwich

The Xperia S connectivity allows users to share the content via TV, smartphone, laptop or tablet easily. There is a HDMI port on the phone where users can plug in a HDMI cable to a LCD TV. Alternatively, it can be shared wirelessly via DLNA. Xperia S is also NFC-enabled (near field communication) to allow effortless sharing of content and utilization of various NFC applications and services using the SmartTag.
