Demonstration of HyperFormance

In a seperate session, Singaporean overclocker SHREK demonstrates the use of Virtu HyperFormance using two benchmark tools, 3DMark Vantage and Street Fighter IV.

The system setup :

ASRock FATAL1TY Z77 Professional
Intel 2600K at 5.54GHz
HIS 7970 graphics card at default speed
Kingston DDR3-2133 CAS 10

With Virtu HyperFormance turned off, 3Dmark Vantage is P34422. With it turned on, the result rocketed to P60670.

That is a 76% improvement in performance when Virtu HyperFormance is enabled.

Street Fighter IV

Likewise Street Fighter IV at 1440×960 gave an impressive result.

Before it is turnde on, it scores 37055 (457.48 fps). With Virtu HyperFormance turned on,  the result reaches a score of 53326 and runs at 684.72fps. That is a remarkable 49% gain in the frame rate!

Boards should go on sale soon but the processors won’t be available until end Apr. So sit tight and wait for bundle deals from the various retailers from Sim Lim Square.
