Intel Smart Response Technology tested using PC MARK Vantage

Before testing it, you should read our guide on how to enable this feature.

In our test platform, we used the Core i5-2500K processor with 2x2GB Kingston running at DDR3-1866 C7-8-7-20-1T. The HDD we used is an old Seagate 7200.7 SATA 1.5G 160GB and the Kingston SSDNOw 64GB V Series SSD drive.

We first tested it without the SSD connected. PCMark Vantage HDD test gave us a score of 3237. With the ISRT enabled, the score shot up to 9451. That is a 191% increase in performance for PCMark Vantage HDD test.

In the detail test, the improvement can be up to 349% in application loading.
