Futuremark 3Dmark Vantage and 3DMark11
In the 3D gaming performance tests, we first tested the card using an ASUS EAH6850 graphics card with Catalyst 10.12 Preview. As ECS P67H2-A is powered by Hydra, allowing Mixed mode graphics card to boost up 3D performance, we paired it up with an ASUS ENGTX460 TOP graphics card withForceware driver 266.58. The hydra driver used is 1.7.104a.
In 3DMark Vantage, the High performance test is selected running 1680×1080. With an individual 6850 graphics card, the performance seems to 100 odd points lower than 2 of the fastest boards we have. A score of 9112 is on par with the Biostar TP67XE. We feel that it could be higher since the CPU performance test gave very good results.
In Hydra mixed card mode, the ECS P67H2-A scores 12790, that is a 40% boost to the graphical performance. Let’s see what happens with 3Dmark 11.
In 3Dmark11, the Extreme test is selected. With an individual 6850 graphics card, it scored 1148. With the added on 460GTX graphics card, GPU performance is boosed up to 1829, a 59% performance increase is registered.
