Epson, the heavy hitter in the projection market, has just announced the latest addition to its Lifestudio lineup: the Epson Lifestudio Grand EH-LS670B. Designed to replace the traditional bulky TV in modern living rooms, this ultra-short throw (UST) laser projector is all about big-screen immersion without the footprint.
120-inch Visuals from Inches Away
The standout feature here is the UST technology. You only need 70cm of clearance from the wall to the back of the unit to throw a massive 120-inch image. This makes it a perfect fit for Singapore’s compact apartments where space is at a premium.
Under the hood, it uses Epson’s signature 3LCD technology, pushing out 3,600 lumens of color brightness. This means you don’t need a total blackout to get a usable picture—it’s built to handle ambient light in a typical living room setup.
AI-Powered 4K Optics
Epson is leaning heavily into AI with this model to bridge the gap between projection and high-end LED panels:
- 4K PRO-UHD: Delivers sharp, high-definition clarity.
- AI Super Resolution (AISR): Uses AI to upscale and sharpen frames in real-time.
- AI Picture Quality (AIPQ): Automatically adjusts contrast and color based on a scene database.

Audio by BOSE & Google TV Integration
Unlike many projectors that require an external soundbar, the EH-LS670B comes with an enhanced audio system powered by BOSE. It promises deeper bass and a more dimensional soundstage, paired with a quieter fan to ensure the audio isn’t competing with hardware noise.
On the software side, it’s a “set and forget” hub. It runs Google TV natively, meaning Netflix, Disney+, and YouTube are ready to go out of the box with Chromecast built-in.
