Last Saturday, we took some time off and headed to Tanjong Rhu to catch the NDP rehearsal fireworks display. Although certain areas were cordoned off, we still managed to test the Pocket 4P, capturing both the dark surroundings and the fireworks.
During playback, I noticed some lens flare caused by reflections, which is quite typical for most cameras. In this case, the glare was not overly distracting. The night sky appeared brighter than usual due to clouds and lingering smoke. Since we did not make any adjustments to the 10-bit 4K/50fps recording, the footage may look slightly brighter, which is expected for a 1-inch sensor.
The opening scene was shot using 3x zoom. I also experimented with digital zoom up to 12x, focusing on the top of a condominium. There was a noticeable shift in color, likely due to lens switching, and some noise became apparent at the 12x zoom level.
