Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB) is entering its next phase of growth, and the company is ramping up work to improve network capacity, performance and future readiness, building on its position as Malaysia’s leading 5G infrastructure provider.

Right now, DNB is activating its newly allocated 3.3–3.4 GHz spectrum, known as “F-Zero.” Combined with the existing 3.4–3.5 GHz spectrum, that gives DNB 200 MHz of contiguous mid-band spectrum in total, the largest such allocation in the country. In practical terms, this roughly doubles network capacity, which means better efficiency and a noticeably improved experience for users, particularly in busy, high-demand areas.

This extra capacity matters beyond just faster speeds. It puts DNB and its Access Seekers in a strong position to support the next wave of enterprise digitalisation, think AI-driven applications, automation, industrial IoT and mission-critical services, giving Malaysian businesses a solid, high-performing 5G platform to build and scale on with confidence.

So far, more than 50 sites have already been upgraded, and more are lined up for activation. These upgrades will keep improving performance in high-traffic locations and open the door to more demanding, data-heavy use cases going forward.
