At Computex Taipei 2018, Intel SVP Gregory Bryant demoed a 28-core processor running at 5GHz showcase a future Intel processor with 28 cores and runs at 5 GHz. The CineBench R15 scores 7334 points. Intel dropped a hint that the processor will launch in Q4 of 2018. No other details are available.
It looks like AMD will have to do something to reign back it’s crown as the multicore multithread is being overtaken by Intel
