LG Electronics (LG) has always focused on launching IT solutions that can bring immense benefits to its consumers. The solutions range from the lightweight LG gram which weighs less than 1kg to UltraWideTM monitors that pack more screen area and 4K Ultra High Definition (UHD) monitors with more vivid colors.
LG gram: Powerful Performance in a Lightweight Body
With the success of the LG gram launched in Singapore last year, LG will be expanding the series with a 15.6-, 14- and 13.3-inch bodies, which are all the lightest in their own category. The highly portable LG gram is an ideal choice for working professionals as well as students who are constantly on the go.
Despite increasing the screen size, LG has managed to maintain the weight of the model equivalent to its predecessors. This design feat was made possible by implementing the company’s latest weight-shedding technologies such as the optimum PCB design and high-density batteries. The design team also shed weight through creative design updates, such as minimizing the bezel size. LG gram also offers an improved battery life of up to 17.5 hours, which means users only need one full charge of the battery and it will last through a direct flight from Singapore to New York. And despite their thin profiles, the new gram series offer an assortment of inbuilt ports for easier and quicker connectivity to various devices. The backlit keyboard also allows users to continue working with ease even when the lights on the planes are dimmed.
The LG gram uses the advanced sixth-generation Intel Core i5 or i7 and the screen supports a Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080) IPS display. On top of that, the gram provides comfortable usability; it is able to connect with a variety of other devices through multiple ports, including the new USB-C port, which can be used to transfer content to exterior screens and users can use this port to quickly charge the laptop or a mobile phone.
