In a short email sent out to subscribers, Red Otter which runs oya.sg will wind down operations in Singapore MVNO business after operating for a few months.

Users who has the eSIM will have their service terminated by 25 Jan 2020.

All customers who purchased credits will be fully refunded.

It looks like the MVNO market is quite saturated. To date, oya is the second to leave the market. Another operator Zero SG or Zero Mobile has yet to relaunch.

We are now left with

4 MNO – Singtel, M1, Starhub, TPG
2 sub brands Gomo (Singtel) and Giga (Starhub)

7 MVNOs – Singtel MVNOs – Gridmobile, Zero1, ViViFi, ZeroMobile
Starhub MVNOs – RedOne, MyRepublic, VivoBee
M1 MVNO – Circles.Life, oya
